Upon attaining a Limited Permit (LP) in Medical X-ray&or Limited Xray Machine Operator license(LXMO) combined with other training graduates can apply for positions in Medical Clinics and Specialty Offices! Allied Medical X-ray Institute has a long history of instructing students in the Art of Medical Imaging! We are approved by the Oregon Board of Radiologic Technology www.obrt.state.usa & are Oregon Private Career School licensed. Our main campus is a located in dowtown Eugeneclose to lodging & restaurants.Rural training is available in Eastern and Southern Oregon. How Does The Program Work? Upon satisfactory completion of  training sessions you can apply for employment. After finding x-ray work & attaining a temporary permit you can take x-rays!                                                    During the next year you will take state examinations & get x-rays reviewed.  Continuing Education:all courses are approved as continuing education for Radiologic Technologists and Limited Permits/Limited XRay Machine Operators (LXMOs). Allied Medical Instructors are versed in family practice-orthopedics-chiropractic-podiatric & sports medicine. On site instruction is available from Don Sliva BSRT(R) in Eastern Oregon and Brent and Delinda Kell is Southern Oregon  utilizing our Rural Training Program!
